Another Late Post

Well ... I tried I really did life is CRAZY right now!! I will post a bit more on that later!!
So ...
Thursday ... was another great day for E!! He had hand writing homework and finished it with no issue! He made some puppets too! The tiny one is Alex, the next one is Ethan the one with crazy hair is Me and the last one ... well that one is "Big headed daddy" hehehe


Friday's are always half days ... so no nap ... he was EXHAUSTED!! but he had a good day :)

Saturday was back to school night and it was a good meeting! It was more of a PTA meeting but it was great :D I did lean somethings about my boy... When we walked in E was behind me he came around to the front of me and showed me someone had colored a picture for him. I asked him who and told him to say thank you! He turned to this CUTE little blonds girl and said thank you. I turned to the little girls mom and she told me that Ethan was all she heard about at home (awwwww) So we decided to go to the gym to set up the blankets and pillow for the kids to watch the movie while we had a meeting and I took a look at the picture ... it was Cinderella and the prince kissing in the carriage OMGOODNESS!! Well E's teacher was in the gym when we got there and I showed him the picture and he asked if I had head about the little girl at home I said no nothing!! Well OMGOODNESS did he tell me about the little girl and E ... he has to keep them apart ... he told me the little girl is always trying to hold his hand and she is always hugging him hahaha E hadn't said one thing!! it's crazy!!! Well when I talked with E about it the truth came out there are 2 or 3 girls that like him ... in K ... there are 3 more in first!!! They caught a glimpse of him and all I could hear was EEEEEEETHAN!!!! and suddenly he was SURROUNDED by girls ... all fighting over who was gonna hug him and stand next to him ... I was startin' to get worried he might not come outta the girl pit alive LMAO!! Oh my ... what to do?!?! He is the self proclaimed "Ladies man" *roll eyes*

OH OH OH ... AND I got a new camera woohoo I can take pictures again!!

Sunday ... a large part of the day was spent at my parents house while M was at his fathers helping them move the last of the large items into a trailer ... it is only a mater of days before my fil and my bil will be here for good. Micah is watching me like a hawk making sure I am ok ... I am so thankful he knows this is a stressful time for me ... he really can be a GREAT man ... sometimes hehehe

Monday ... well E had school ... of course ... and hand writing homework ... that was NOT so easily completed this time :( But we had a meet the teacher night kinda thing last night and I found out I was not the only one :D We got to hear all about what they will cover this year! It's gonna be awesome!!

BTW ....

I WILL be blogging most everyday from now on! What else am I to do with all the extra time I have! No more lesson plans or trying to figure out what Alex is gonna do while he studies ... I miss him but I know homeschooling was not for us. Plus he LOVES his school and he already knew 2 of the boys in his class!! I am SOOOOO thankful my parents were willing and able to assist with his school tuition she he could attend this school :)

Can you believe it?!? I Can't!! Ethan started school Monday ... that was a half day. When I Left him Monday morning in his class room I said goodbye and he responded "Bye mommy I'll see you when I get home" I had to explain to him I would be picking him up ... he seemed a bit disappointed. Hahaha! Well when I did pick him up he made it clear he was looking forward to Tuesday when he would have a whole day of school.

Tuesday was just a smooth he didn't even bother to say bye to me until his teacher told him I said goodbye... When I picked him up he told me he had a GREAT day! But he did tell me I forgot a blanket for nap time ... oops!!! I had the mat and the the pillow ... I failed to remember the blanket! Oh he mentioned something about a secret he is not allowed to tell me about ....

Wednesday!! He had a GREAT day yet again! I packed to much food for lunch ... he ate the rest on the way home. He met someone new today A little girl he remembered her name and everything!! He had homework today ... it's already done :) it was a little matching game for us to play even daddy and Alex played with us!! He brought up that secret again today ....

I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!! He LOVES his school!! This is such a great fit for him so far!!

Yet Another Year

Guess what?!?! I'm 27! When did that happen? well yesterday actually. I can't believe it. I was SICK but I did have a pretty good day all in all. The kids picked up a tummy bug last week first it was E then as soon as he felt better miss Alex then Saturday I felt BAD and Saturday night it really hit Sunday wasn't much better but I patched myself together enough to go get my kids from my parents house about 40 min away. They had a nice bland but yummy dinner waiting for me Baked chicken, mashed tatos and peas :) oh and the kids (with mawmaws help) made me a YUMMY red velvet cake w/creme cheese icing and green writing Oh and 27 pink candles :) I didn't take any pictures sadly I wasn't feeling well enough to even think about my camera.

Mom and dad had a GREAT time w/ the kids over the weekend they took them Saturday morning and had them until Sunday late afternoon. It was planed that way so M and I could have a bit of time alone for my birthday however it worked out well because I was sick. Mom said that she and dad were SOOOO tired at Sunday night after trying to keep up w/ the kids and she was amazed that I could do it ALL the time and then offered to take them for 2 hours a week so that I could have a bit of time to myself or a date w/ my Micah :) They Love my kids but I think if they kept them much longer than a weekend my parents would need a week to recover LoL.

OHHH this mommy got some loot for her b-day!! My Micah got me a record/cd/tape player radio. Mom and dad got me some bare essentials treatments, a turtle purse and new stilleto grips for my motorcycle and some jewelry. My Kids (with Maw maw's help) got me a Vera Bradly purse! My aunt got me philosophy Pure Grace perfume and body wash and my grandfather gave me some cash :) All in All it was a good day I got to spend some time w/ my family and have a great meal all of us around the same table :)

Pretty much every year we go to Boyds Bear Barn for Brunch with the Easter Bunny this year we went and they had a raffle and E won the biggest prize. Just so you know that's Fuzz T. Bear to you ;)

E LOVES the Ocean he's just splashing away. We went camping in Rehobeth Beach with some family and their friends this summer we had WAY to much fun! I hope next summer we can do it again!

Micah had an early meeting left and came home to find this ... I guess E got up, got dressed and climbed into bed w/ me and Alex just came in and passed out on my legs... this is so typical on my kids I just LOVE this picture .

Beware The Silence

My of my mommy friends and I have a fear of silence when the kids are home because it almost ALWAYS means something is going on the little angles don't want us to know about. Now I used to love the silent moments that I could just read or relax but in recent months I have grown to fear the quiet times in my home. Ethan and Alex have become quite the team when it comes to making messes. Most recent a bucket of blue paint was opened by Ethan and poured by Alex (it was a screw top kilz bucket) in a matter of 5 min. there was blue paint on the hall, in the laundry room, in the bathroom and in the tub!!! it was CRAZY!!!!! I did learn thou it all that windex can dissolve latex paint!! :) I really can't even go into all the time it took for me to clean my NEW tile and the NEW grout. Or how thankful I was that it was the old wood floors and now the new. it was a mess like none I have ever seen and therefore I took no pictures of the incident because I had NOOOOOO desire to remember the grief that blue paint caused me ... OR that my kids looked like smurfs w/ white faces. I was so mad all I could do was laugh. When I was calm enough to ask Ethan WHY???? his response was "I was just trying to make the house beautiful" which I can see was that case since they did in fact fingerprint on the walls with this dark blue paint. So how can I be so mad at someone who was just trying to help me redecorate. I don't think I will be cleaning the wall or repainting it. I got little hands and finger painted snakes ... and besides it's upstairs at the end of the hallway just next to the laundry room door, so it is kinda tucked away.

Now onto something I DO have some pictures of.... the shaving cream incident
Now I have never given much thought to just how much foam is in a can of barbasol shaving cream I just know I get one for Micah once every month to month and a half and I don't worry about much else. I also had never thought if the fun that could be had IF one decided to release ALL of the foam out of that can at one time. This is where my kids come in who says kids can't teach a parent anything.... I heard silence that was followed up by laughing and Ethan coming down stairs telling me Daddy didn't want ME to be mad. that was a BIG clue that daddy was NOT involved cause any of you that know my dear Micah he doesn't care if he makes me mad, I think that is one of his favorite hobbies. Well E went back up stairs I thought I would follow .... I come up the stairs and the smell of shaving cream hits me in the face ... my first thought: M bathed the kids and let them play w/ a little ... he lets it happen sometimes. So I went in the bathroom to find just about everything covered in shaving cream. including the kids... it was cute and the walls in the bathroom are tile so no worries but it was still something I had to clean up so there was a verbal reprimand issued. The whole time E was telling me daddy helped make the mess. So I called daddy out of his office to see his very own handy work... daddy was less than pleased at the site and it was obvious he had NOTHING to do with the fun times the kids had just had. So with out further ado a few pictures of my little creative monkeys.

Welcome to my life

It has been brought to my attention that I need to tell more stories and post more pictures of my kids for my friends around the country to see. So here it is, my little blog. Now as far as I know neither of my kids have A.D.D. I, however, do. You will sometimes have a tough time following me cause I will skip around and I will go off on tangents and you my dear readers are just gonna have to deal because that's who I am and I'm NOT changing a thing. ;) I can promise you among the many grammar mistakes and spelling errors and plain old typo's you will find a story of a mom who LOVES her kids and sometimes those wonderful sweet kids are less then perfect. I will share with you all my messes, my heartbreaks, my proud moments, my embarrassing moments... just about everything. I will defiantly make you laugh when I tell the tales of my kids painting fun, shaving cream mountains and chocolate milk that is really more like liquid milk chocolate (don't EVER ask Ethan to make you some chocolate milk unless you want to drink chocolate syrup though a straw!!) Well Tomorrow I will copy and paste a few of the crazy stories of my kids and their messes and then I will start blogging about the everyday fun times we have around here in the Forman household!!
